Here are photos of some of the jewellery which was commissioned before 2004.
The beauty of well cut/well polished diamonds
This ring was created using Cad Cam. The precision of computer aided design enabled a simple yet striking finished piece

Hand made platinum diamond gents ring
This is one of the few applications of a diamond ring that really suites most men.

 |
Boat shaped amethyst and diamond pendant
The upside down view of this piece shows the care needed to produce a hand-made setting to delicately contour the amethysts shape.
These settings can only be used on the stone they are designed to fit, as most stones are shaped differently. |
 |
Platinum channel and pave' set cross
This hand-made cross was channel set with 2.3mm diamonds by hand. The bail is pave' set. The center stone is 'grain' set

Amethyst yellow gold ring
I make a number of extra large rings like this in 18k white and yellow gold, using natural gem stones.
These pieces were constructed by either carving in wax, or hand forging a model in silver to later be cast.

 |
Pear cut diamond and tapered baguette platinum ring
This ring was first carved in wax and then cast and reworked in silver before casting in platinum and reworking again, which adds a middle step for quality assurance.

A pear shaped bezel set emerald ring
Both the setting and the band were hand forged to make this ring. They balance with each other well
When having a bezel set ring made for a large pear shaped stone, it must be custom made to fit the stone. There is no point adjusting a bought setting to match a stone. |
 |
Heavy duty platinum solitaire ring
This heavy platinum engagement ring was created with lasting strength in mind.
|
 |
Heavy platinum 4 claw setting in gold band
This is really one of the simplest designs a jeweller will ever encounter. It is a classic design and very beautiful.

 |
Bezel set emerald cut aquamarine ring
Extra care has been taken in creating an even beveled edge around the stone on this fairly inexpensive ring.
|
 |
Champagne diamond on a diamond set band
A nicely cut and clear natural champagne diamond is a good choice for those who want a bigger diamond for less money.
. |
 |
Diagonally set princess cut solitaire
Setting a princess cut diagonally or straight is a matter of personal choice.
What can I say...
There is no discernable difference in strength or wear ability |
 |
Diamond ring with bezel set center stone
This design was based on a photo from a magazine which was sent to me by a retailer.
It is a good idea to compile a collection of photos if you want to learn about the many different styles jewellers use. |
 |
Up-scaled wishbone ring
Hand-forged in platinum, and polished to the highest standards, the extra shine around the stones makes for the ultimate in WOW factor.
|
 |
Titanium and gold pegasus ring
The design was inspired by car leaf spring suspension. The pegasus was pierced with a jewellers saw frame and it is the family emblem. The blue metal under the top plate is also titanium but heated to achieve the desired royal blue colour. The screw holes were individually tapped and the screws are the type used in watches.
