Quotes and consultations

We get the details of the commission and discuss the design when you come in. We work with ideas on paper, drawings, photos and existing examples.

The quote will include details from the job sheet which you are encouraged to check over

Gem setting

Each setting is hand made. Gems are hand set. Settings are engraved and polished by hand.

Detailed and intricate settings can be uniquely designed for the stone.

Value

The long lasting quality of the product and clean detail

Costs

Labour is charged on an hourly basis. Precious metal, diamonds and gems are sold through reputable dealers. Sold with appropriate costs

Larger commissions are ongoing and a final price is made after the piece is ready. These pieces are rare as they are created step by step.

Alloys - markings

Platinum is marked 950. Palladium is marked 900. Gold 750, Silver 999 or 925

PLAT and Pd and other alloy purity marks used to indicate alloy finess. Makers Mark signiture markings are used on original creations and repeats, hallmarked with GSGA mark for provenance
